Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age with a minimum of two years' retail grocery experience and two years supervisory experience.
• Be dependable and reliable with a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Have and show an outgoing and friendly demeanor with a positive attitude and the ability to interact with customers.
• Strong communication skills and ability to take direction in a team environment.
• Be able to answer phones and take special orders.
• Perform general housekeeping and sanitize work areas.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Bakery Manager in managing and merchandising the department for maximum productivity and profit.
• Responsible for ordering and inventory controls, product quality, and supervision of the Bakery team.
• Execute rotation of merchandise and building of displays.
• Monitor in-coming cases for damaged items.
• Ensure the delivery of excellent customer service and monitor the quality of Bakery product.
• Unload and sort through store deliveries and operate bakery equipment.
• Adhere to health, safety, and sanitation guidelines/regulations and ensure bakery team compliance.
