Sprouts Farmers Market, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Bakery Manager in Surprise, AZ to lead Bakery Clerks and support the Bakery Manager in daily operations. You will help manage staffing, merchandising, inventory, and quality assurance while delivering outstanding customer service in a fast-paced environment.

Ideal candidates bring 2+ years in retail grocery with supervisory experience, a friendly demeanor, and strong teamwork skills to ensure safe, clean, and compliant bakery operations.

Qualifications

• Two years of retail grocery experience and two years of supervisory experience.
• Be at least 18 years old with the ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Excellent customer service and positive attitude with strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Bakery Manager in managing and merchandising the department for maximum productivity and profit.
• Oversee ordering, inventory controls, product quality, and supervision of Bakery team.
• Execute rotation of merchandise and build attractive displays; monitor incoming cases for damaged items.
• Ensure delivery of excellent customer service and quality of Bakery products.
