• Two years of retail grocery experience and two years supervisory experience.
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Outgoing and friendly demeanor with customers.
• Good communication and ability to take direction in a team.
• Answer phones and take special orders.
• Perform housekeeping and sanitation in the department.
• Able to operate knives, scales, wrappers and related equipment.
• Stand for long periods; lift up to 40 lbs; safety first.

Responsibilities

• Assist Bakery Manager in managing and merchandising the department for productivity and profit.
• Oversee ordering, inventory controls, product quality, and Bakery team supervision.
• Rotate merchandise and build displays.
• Monitor incoming cases for damaged items.
• Deliver excellent customer service and maintain product quality.
• Unload deliveries and operate deli equipment.
• Enforce health, safety, and sanitation guidelines.
