Sprouts Farmers Market is seeking an Assistant Bakery Manager to lead Bakery Clerks and assist the Bakery Manager in daily operations. You will help manage staffing, merchandising, inventory, and quality control while maintaining high customer service standards in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires at least 2 years of retail grocery and supervisory experience, strong communication, and the ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• Two years' retail grocery experience and two years supervisory experience.
• Outgoing and friendly demeanor with a positive attitude.
• Good communication skills; ability to take and give direction in a team.
• Ability to answer phones and take special orders.
• Ability to operate basic deli-related equipment and maintain sanitation.

Responsibilities

• Assist Bakery Manager in managing and merchandising the department for productivity and profit.
• Oversee ordering, inventory controls, and supervision of the Bakery team.
• Rotate merchandise and build displays to attract customers.
• Monitor incoming cases for damaged items and ensure product quality.
• Ensure excellent customer service and sanitation guidelines are followed.
• Unload deliveries and operate deli equipment as needed.
