The role focuses on merchandising, inventory control, product quality, safety, and staff supervision. A minimum of 2 years in retail grocery with supervisory experience is required, with flexibility for nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• 18+ years of age with at least two years of retail grocery experience and two years of supervisory experience.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Outgoing, friendly demeanor with strong customer service skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities; able to take and give direction.
• Capable of answering phones and handling special orders.
• Maintain department cleanliness and sanitation; follow safety guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Assist Bakery Manager in managing and merchandising the department for productivity and profit.
• Oversee ordering, inventory controls, product quality, and supervision of Bakery staff.
• Rotate merchandise and build displays to attract customers.
• Monitor incoming cases for damaged items and quality control.
• Deliver excellent customer service and ensure Bakery products meet standards.
• Unload deliveries, operate and maintain bakery equipment.
• Enforce health, safety, and sanitation guidelines; ensure staff compliance.
• Thrive in a fast-paced environment and contribute to team success.
