Job summary

Sprouts Farmers Market is seeking an Assistant Bakery Manager to lead Bakery Clerks and support the Bakery Manager in daily operations. You will oversee product quality, merchandising, inventory control, and delivering excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements include 18+ years old, at least two years of retail grocery experience and two years of supervisory experience, with flexibility for nights, weekends, and holidays. A Food Handlers permit is required.

• Minimum of two years' retail grocery experience and two years supervisory experience.
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Food Handlers permit and ability to stand long hours.

Responsibilities

• Assist Bakery Manager in supervising Bakery Department operations.
• Manage and merchandise the department for productivity and profit.
• Oversee ordering and inventory controls, product quality, and supervision of the Bakery team.
• Execute rotation of merchandise and building of displays.
• Ensure safety, health, and sanitation guidelines are followed.
