Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years old with a minimum of two years' retail grocery experience and two years supervisory experience.
• Be dependable and capable of a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Maintain a friendly demeanor and strong customer interaction skills.
• Have good communication and ability to take directions in a team.
• Able to answer phones and take special orders.
• Perform general housekeeping and sanitize work areas.
• Be able to stand for long hours and lift up to 40 lbs as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Bakery Manager in managing and merchandising the department for productivity and profit.
• Oversee ordering, inventory controls, and supervision of the Bakery team.
• Execute rotation of merchandise and building of displays.
• Monitor incoming cases for damaged items.
• Ensure excellent customer service and product quality.
• Unload deliveries and operate deli equipment.
• Ensure adherence to health, safety, and sanitation guidelines.
