Sprouts Farmers Market in Albuquerque, NM is seeking an Assistant Bakery Manager to lead Bakery Clerks and assist the Bakery Manager in daily operations, ensuring quality and friendly service.

You will manage staffing, ordering, inventory, displays, health and safety compliance, and guest interactions in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age with a minimum of two years' retail grocery experience and two years supervisory experience.
• Be dependable with flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Have outgoing, friendly behavior with positive attitude and customer interaction skills.
• Good communication and ability to take/give direction in a team environment.
• Able to answer phones and take special orders.
• General housekeeping in department; sanitize work area.
• Operate and use knives, scales, wrappers, compactors, garbage disposals, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
• Stand up to 3 hours continuously and lift up to 40 lbs over shifts; follow safety and sanitation guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Assist Bakery Manager in managing and merchandising the department for productivity and profit.
• Oversee ordering and inventory controls, product quality, and supervision of the Bakery team.
• Execute rotation of merchandise and building of displays.
• Monitor incoming cases for damaged items and ensure customer service quality.
• Unload deliveries and maintain deli equipment; uphold safety regulations.
