Sprouts Farmers Market in Mount Juliet, TN is seeking an Assistant Bakery Manager to lead bakery clerks and support daily operations of the department. You will help ensure product quality, correct merchandising, and exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years' retail grocery experience and two years supervisory experience.
• Ability to work flexible schedule including nights, weekends, holidays.
• Outgoing and friendly demeanor with positive attitude and customer interaction.
• Good communication and teamwork; ability to take directions.
• Able to answer phones and take special orders.
• General housekeeping and sanitation; operate knives, scales, wrappers, etc.
• Stand for up to 8 hours; lift up to 40 lbs.; manual handling as needed.
• Adhere to safety, health, and Weights & Measures regulations; Food Handlers permit.

Responsibilities

• Assist Bakery Manager in managing and merchandising the department for productivity and profit.
• Responsible for ordering and inventory controls, product quality, and supervision of the Bakery team.
• Execute rotation of merchandise and building displays.
• Monitor in-coming cases for damaged items.
• Ensure the delivery of excellent customer service and monitor the quality of Bakery product.
• Unload and sort store deliveries, operate and maintain deli equipment.
• Ensure the execution of all company health, safety, and sanitation guidelines/regulations, and ensure staff compliance.
