Sprouts Farmers Market is seeking an Assistant Bakery Manager to lead Bakery Clerks and support the Bakery Manager in daily department operations. This role focuses on delivering excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment.

You will help manage inventory, place orders, build displays, rotate stock, and ensure compliance with health and safety standards while maintaining product quality. Strong communication and leadership are essential to success.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of retail grocery experience and 2 years in a supervisory role.
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Outgoing, friendly demeanor with strong customer interaction skills.
• Ability to give and receive direction; work well in a team.
• Ability to answer phones and take special orders.
• Maintain clean, sanitized work area per guidelines.
• Operate and use deli equipment and common tools as needed.

Responsibilities

• Lead Bakery Clerks and assist the Bakery Manager in daily operations.
• Assist in managing and merchandising for productivity and profit.
• Handle ordering and inventory controls; manage bakery team.
• Rotate merchandise and build attractive displays.
• Monitor incoming cases for damaged items and quality control.
• Ensure excellent customer service and product quality.
• Unload store deliveries and maintain deli equipment; uphold safety rules.
