Job summary

Sprouts Farmers Market is seeking an Assistant Bakery Manager to lead the Bakery Clerks and assist the Bakery Manager in daily department operations. You will drive productivity, ensure product quality, and maintain displays while delivering excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment.

Ideal candidates will have grocery retail experience with supervisory responsibilities and a strong commitment to safety and sanitation standards.

Qualifications

Be at least 18 years of age with a minimum of two years' retail grocery experience.
Have and show two years of supervisory experience.
Be able to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Demonstrate excellent communication and customer-service skills.
Be able to operate basic deli/kitchen equipment and assist with safety procedures.

Responsibilities

Lead Bakery Clerks and assist the Bakery Manager in daily supervision of department operations.
Oversee ordering, inventory controls, product quality, and team supervision.
Rotate merchandise and Build displays to maximize productivity and profits.
Monitor incoming cases for damaged items and maintain display standards.
Ensure health, safety, and sanitation guidelines are followed by all Bakery staff.
