Sprouts Farmers Market, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Bakery Manager to lead Bakery Clerks and support the Bakery Manager in daily operations. You will drive department productivity, supervise the baking team, and ensure top-notch customer service in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Two years' retail grocery experience and two years supervisory experience.
• Dependable with ability to work a flexible schedule including night, weekends, and holidays.
• Outgoing and friendly demeanor with a positive attitude and customer interaction skills.
• Good communication skills; able to give and take direction in a team environment.
• Able to answer phones and take special orders.
• Perform housekeeping; clean and sanitize work area.
• Operate and use knives, scales, wrappers, compactors, garbage disposals, pallet jacks and hand trucks.
• Able to stand up to 3 hours continuously; lift up to 40 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Bakery Manager in managing and merchandising the department for maximum productivity and profit.
• Responsible for ordering and inventory controls, product quality, and supervision of the Bakery team.
• Execute rotation of merchandise and building of displays.
• Monitor in-coming cases for damaged items.
• Ensure the delivery of excellent customer service and monitor the quality of Bakery product.
• Unload and sort through store deliveries, operate, and maintain deli equipment.
• Ensure compliance with safety, health, and sanitation guidelines and train the team.
