Job summary

Sprouts Farmers Market, Inc. is seeking a Bakery Manager to lead the Bakery Department with a focus on quality, customer service, and operational excellence. You will oversee production, inventory, and display, while coaching teammates to deliver outstanding service.

The role requires hands-on leadership in a fast-paced setting, attention to safety and sanitation, and collaboration with Store Management to meet budget and sales goals.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age with a minimum of 2 years' retail grocery experience.
• Be dependable and reliable with flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Outgoing and friendly behavior with a positive attitude toward team members and customers.
• Good communication skills and ability to take directions in a team environment.
• Answer phones and take special orders.
• General housekeeping and sanitation of the department.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily output baking, production, and display of bakery products.
• Supervise product quality, monitor inventory, and manage department budget.
• Evaluate operations to identify strengths and areas for improvement and implement procedures.
• Ensure safety, proper food handling, sanitation, and productivity standards.
• Handle ordering, receiving, unloading, and storage; rotate merchandise and build displays.
