Sprouts Farmers Market is seeking an Assistant Bakery Manager in a fast-paced environment. You will help the Bakery Manager with department operations, inventory control, and team supervision to deliver quality products and great service.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years old with a minimum of two years' retail grocery experience and two years supervisory experience.
• Be dependable with a flexible schedule including night, weekends, and holidays.
• Outgoing and friendly demeanor with strong communication and teamwork.
• Ability to answer phones and take special orders.
• Maintain clean, sanitized work area and adhere to safety guidelines.
• Able to operate knives, scales, wrappers, compactors, and hand trucks as needed.
• Stand for long periods and lift up to 40 lbs as required.
• Food Handlers permit compliance.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Bakery Manager in managing and merchandising the department for productivity and profit.
• Oversee ordering, inventory controls, product quality, and Bakery team supervision.
• Rotate merchandise and build displays to attract customers.
• Monitor incoming cases for damaged items and ensure product quality.
• Provide excellent customer service and supervise sanitation in bakery area.
• Unload deliveries and operate deli equipment safely.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation guidelines.
