Sprouts Farmers Market is seeking an Assistant Bakery Manager to lead the Bakery Clerks and assist the Bakery Manager in daily department supervision. You will manage ordering, inventory control, displays, and ensure consistent high customer service in a fast-paced, friendly environment.

The role requires strong supervisory experience in retail grocery, excellent communication, and the ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age with a minimum of two years' retail grocery experience and two years supervisory experience.
• Be dependable and reliable with the ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Have outgoing and friendly behavior with a positive attitude and ability to interact with customers.
• Have good communication skills and the ability to take direction in a team environment.
• Able to answer phones and take special orders.
• Perform general housekeeping in the department and sanitize work areas.
• Able to operate kitchen tools and equipment as needed and weigh/label products.
• Stand for long periods and lift/move items within stated limits.
• Adhere to safety, health, and sanitation regulations and obtain a Food Handlers permit.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer satisfaction through leadership of Bakery Clerks and daily supervision of Bakery Department operations.
• Assist Bakery Manager in managing and merchandising the department for productivity and profit.
• Order and inventory control, supervise the Bakery team, and build displays.
• Rotate merchandise and monitor incoming cases for quality and damage.
• Ensure health and sanitation guidelines are followed and maintain product quality.
• Support a fast-paced, customer-focused bakery operation.
