Job summary

Nothing Bundt Cakes in Burbank is seeking a Shift Manager to lead bakery operations during assigned shifts and support team members across all areas of the bakery. You will help ensure exceptional guest service while maintaining high standards for quality, sanitation, and teamwork.

You will coach and train staff, manage opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and daily reporting, and coordinate with management to ensure smooth shift execution and a positive guest experience.

Qualifications

• Leadership experience in a supervisory role or similar.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to coach and motivate staff in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
• Dependable, detail-oriented and results-driven.
• Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays as needed.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Lead and motivate team members to deliver exceptional guest experiences.
• Oversee daily bakery operations and ensure smooth shift execution.
• Provide coaching, training, and support to team members.
• Assist with opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and daily reporting.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, and company standards.
• Support guest service, cake decoration, frosting, and production activities as needed.
• Address guest concerns professionally and resolve issues promptly.
• Monitor inventory levels and communicate operational needs to management.
