Job summary

The Nothing Bundt Cakes is seeking a Shift Lead to work alongside the Bakery Manager and team to deliver outstanding guest experiences, support cake production, and uphold NbC standards. This role shares leadership duties, helps drive sales, and ensures daily operations align with company policies.

The Shift Lead will collaborate on scheduling, training, and performance feedback, while maintaining brand integrity and a welcoming, high-quality bakery environment for guests and team members.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; post-secondary education is a plus.
• 1-3 years of guest-facing experience in a retail, restaurant or foodservice environment, preferably in a lead role with progressive managerial responsibilities.
• Reliable transportation required, and must pass an MVR
• Demonstrated success creating a superior guest experience and coaching others to do the same, training new team members, directing the work of others, and achieving productivity goals.
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook, with comfort in learning new technologies.

Responsibilities

• Lead guest experience and cake production alongside Bakery Manager.
• Assist in staffing and coaching the team to meet productivity goals.
• Ensure bakery standards, safety, and cleanliness are maintained.
• Assist in scheduling, inventory control, and payroll processing where applicable.
• Support special-order fulfillment and bakery operations as needed.
