Job summary

Nothing Bundt Cakes in Reno, NV is seeking a Shift Manager to lead bakery operations during assigned shifts. You will supervise team members across all bakery areas and help ensure exceptional guest service while maintaining high standards for quality, cleanliness, and teamwork.

The role focuses on coaching, opening/closing procedures, cash handling, and daily reporting, with a strong emphasis on food safety and team collaboration to celebrate guests' moments.

Qualifications

• Previous leadership, supervisory, retail, restaurant, or food service experience preferred
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Ability to lead by example in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities
• Dependable, detail-oriented, and results-driven
• Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays as needed
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds

Responsibilities

• Lead and motivate team members to deliver exceptional guest experiences
• Oversee daily bakery operations and ensure smooth shift execution
• Provide coaching, training, and support to team members
• Assist with opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and daily reporting
• Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, and company standards
• Support guest service, cake decoration, frosting, and production activities as needed
• Address guest concerns professionally and resolve issues in a timely manner
• Monitor inventory levels and communicate operational needs to management
