Sprouts Farmers Market, LLC is seeking an Assistant Bakery Manager to lead the Bakery Clerks and support the Bakery Manager in daily supervision of department operations. You will drive customer satisfaction, manage inventory, and ensure product quality in a fast-paced store environment.

The role requires at least 2 years of retail grocery and 2 years of supervisory experience, with a strong emphasis on teamwork, communication, and safety compliance.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old with a minimum of two years' retail grocery experience and two years supervisory experience.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Outgoing and friendly demeanor with the ability to interact with customers.
• Good communication and teamwork skills; ability to take and give direction.
• Able to answer phones and take special orders.
• General housekeeping and sanitation responsibilities.
• Ability to operate knives, scales, wrappers, and other deli equipment; weigh and label products.
• Stand for long periods and lift items as required; follow safety and worm Health guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Bakery Manager in managing and merchandising the department for maximum productivity and profit.
• Oversee ordering and inventory controls, product quality, and supervision of the Bakery team.
• Execute rotation of merchandise and build displays.
• Monitor incoming cases for damaged items and ensure quality of bakery products.
• Deliver excellent customer service and monitor bakery product quality.
• Unloading and sorting store deliveries; operate deli equipment.
• Ensure compliance with safety, health, and sanitation guidelines.
