Nothing Bundt Cakes in California is seeking a Shift Manager to lead bakery operations during assigned shifts, coach team members across all areas, and ensure exceptional guest service while maintaining our high standards for quality, cleanliness and teamwork.

You will open and close procedures, handle cash and daily reporting, oversee production activities, and foster a positive, team-oriented culture in a fast-paced bakery environment.

Qualifications

• Leadership and supervisory experience in retail, restaurant, or food service.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to lead by example in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
• Dependable, detail-oriented and results-driven.
• Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays as needed.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Lead and motivate team members to deliver exceptional guest experiences
• Oversee daily bakery operations and ensure smooth shift execution
• Provide coaching, training, and support to team members
• Assist with opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and daily reporting
• Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, and company standards
• Support guest service, cake decoration, frosting, and production activities as needed
• Address guest concerns professionally and resolve issues in a timely manner
• Monitor inventory levels and communicate operational needs to management
• Foster a positive, team-oriented culture that reflects the Nothing Bundt Cakes brand
