Job summary

Nothing Bundt Cakes is seeking a Shift Bakery Manager to work with the Bakery Manager and team to deliver high-quality cakes, a warm environment, and superior guest experiences. You will share leadership responsibilities and drive sales and profitability while ensuring NbC standards across daily operations.

This role supports recruiting, training, scheduling, inventory control and special-order fulfillment, and acts as a brand ambassador within the local community.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of guest-facing experience in retail/food service, with progressive leadership responsibilities.
• Ability to coach others, train new team members and achieve productivity goals.
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook, with comfort learning new technologies.

Responsibilities

• Prioritizes guest experience and fosters a positive work environment.
• Partners with Bakery Manager to lead guest experience, cake production, merchandise presentation and inventory control.
• Supports recruiting, training, directing daily work, and providing performance feedback.
• Ensures product, service, bakery environment and visual standards are upheld and food safety standards followed.
• Assists in scheduling, payroll, sales reporting, and basic expense control.
• Co-manages special-order fulfillment and open/close duties including cash handling.
• Contributes to marketing events and community brand-building.
• Maintains knowledge of all bakery roles to perform tasks as needed.
