Job summary

SteveRecruiter, LLC is hiring a Production Supervisor for a bakery operation in Rocky Mount, NC. This hands-on leadership role oversees a team of 15–25 employees across first, second, and third shifts to deliver safe, high-quality products while meeting production goals.

You will guide daily activities, coach staff, and partner with maintenance and quality to resolve issues, with room for professional growth in a established supervisory team.

Qualifications

• Experience leading production teams in manufacturing, preferably bakery or frozen foods.
• Ability to coach, train, and develop staff while maintaining accountability.
• Strong knowledge of food safety, GMPs, and manufacturing operations.
• Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily production activities, staffing, and shift assignments.
• Coach, train, and develop employees while setting clear expectations.
• Maintain food safety, quality, sanitation, and workplace safety standards.
• Monitor production performance, address downtime, and improve efficiency.
• Partner with maintenance, quality, and other departments to resolve issues.
• Communicate priorities and ensure effective shift handoffs.
