Job summary

Accounting Search is recruiting for a Production Supervisor role with a leading food manufacturer in Rocky Mount, NC. This on-site, full-time opportunity covers first, second, and third shifts and manages a team of 15–25 employees to deliver safe, high-quality bakery products while meeting throughput goals.

You will coach and develop staff, uphold GMPs and food-safety standards, coordinate with maintenance and quality teams, and drive continuous improvement in efficiency and performance.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a production team in food manufacturing, bakery or frozen food is preferred.
• Proven ability to manage performance and build accountability.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced setting.
• Knowledge of GMPs, food safety standards, and manufacturing operations.
• Willingness to support production scheduling and shifts.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily production activities, staffing, and shift assignments.
• Coach, train, and develop employees while setting clear expectations.
• Maintain food safety, quality, sanitation, and workplace safety standards.
• Monitor production performance, address downtime, and improve efficiency.
• Partner with maintenance, quality, and other departments to resolve issues.
• Communicate priorities and ensure effective shift handoffs.
