Job summary

The Recruiting Hive is seeking Production Supervisors for its bakery operation in Rocky Mount, North Carolina. This full-time, on-site role oversees a shift-based team of 15–25 employees and offers hands-on leadership with growth opportunities.

You will manage daily production activities, coach staff, uphold food safety and quality standards, and collaborate with maintenance and quality teams to resolve issues.

Qualifications

• Proven supervisory experience in food manufacturing, bakery or frozen foods preferred.
• Ability to lead, manage performance, and drive accountability.
• Knowledge of GMPs, food safety, and standard manufacturing operations.
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to work assigned shifts and support production scheduling.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily production activities, staffing, and shift assignments.
• Coach, train, and develop employees with clear expectations.
• Maintain food safety, quality, sanitation, and workplace safety standards.
• Monitor production performance, address downtime, and improve efficiency.
• Partner with maintenance, quality, and other departments to resolve issues.
• Communicate priorities and ensure effective shift handoffs.
