Job summary

United Future in Rocky Mount, NC is seeking Production Supervisors for its bakery operation. This full-time, on-site role leads a team of 15–25 production employees across first, second, and third shifts, delivering safe, high-quality products while meeting production goals.

You will lead daily production activities, coach staff, maintain food safety and GMPs, address downtime, and collaborate with maintenance and quality teams to resolve issues.

Qualifications

• Bakery or frozen food background preferred.
• Proven ability to lead and hold staff accountable.
• Knowledge of food safety, GMPs, and manufacturing ops.
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to work assigned shift and support scheduling.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily production activities, staffing, and shift assignments.
• Coach, train, and develop employees while setting clear expectations.
• Maintain food safety, quality, sanitation, and workplace safety standards.
• Monitor production performance, address downtime, and improve efficiency.
• Partner with maintenance, quality, and other departments to resolve issues.
• Communicate priorities and ensure effective shift handoffs.
