Job summary

United Future in Rocky Mount, NC, is seeking Production Supervisors for its bakery operation. This full-time, on-site role covers first, second, and third shifts, leading a team of 15–25 production employees to deliver safe, high-quality products on schedule.

You will coach, train, and develop staff, ensure food safety and GMP compliance, monitor performance, and coordinate with maintenance and quality teams. Competitive base salary and bonus, plus benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Supervisory experience in food manufacturing, preferably bakery or frozen foods.
• Ability to lead and hold employees accountable.
• Knowledge of food safety, GMPs, and manufacturing operations.
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to work assigned shift and support production scheduling needs.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily production activities, staffing, and shift assignments.
• Coach, train, and develop employees while setting clear expectations.
• Maintain food safety, quality, sanitation, and workplace safety standards.
• Monitor production performance, address downtime, and improve efficiency.
• Partner with maintenance, quality, and other departments to resolve issues.
• Communicate priorities and ensure effective shift handoffs.
