Key People in Rocky Mount, NC is hiring Production Supervisors for its bakery operation. This on-site role leads a team of 15–25 employees across first, second, and third shifts, delivering safe, high-quality products while meeting production goals.

You will coach and develop staff, monitor safety, quality, and efficiency, and partner with maintenance and quality teams to resolve issues. A hands-on leadership style and strong communication are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Production supervisory experience in food manufacturing; bakery or frozen food is relevant.
• Ability to lead employees, manage performance, and build accountability.
• Knowledge of food safety, GMPs, and manufacturing operations.
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to work the assigned shift and support production scheduling needs.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily production activities, staffing, and shift assignments.
• Coach, train, and develop employees while setting clear expectations.
• Maintain food safety, quality, sanitation, and workplace safety standards.
• Monitor production performance, address downtime, and improve efficiency.
• Partner with maintenance, quality, and other departments to resolve issues.
• Communicate priorities and ensure effective shift handoffs.
