Sun Recruiting, Inc. is seeking Production Supervisors for a bakery operation in Rocky Mount, NC.

This full-time, on-site role leads a team of 15–25 employees across 1st–3rd shifts to deliver safe, high-quality products while meeting production goals. You will oversee daily production activities, coach and develop staff, maintain GMPs and food safety standards, monitor performance, and coordinate with maintenance and quality teams to resolve issues and ensure smooth shift handoffs.

Qualifications

• Production supervisory experience in food manufacturing, bakery or frozen foods.
• Proven ability to lead employees, manage performance and accountability.
• Working knowledge of food safety, GMPs, and manufacturing operations.
• Strong communication, organization, and problem‑solving skills.
• Willingness to work assigned shift and support production scheduling needs.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily production activities, staffing, and shift assignments.
• Coach, train, and develop employees while setting clear expectations.
• Maintain food safety, quality, sanitation, and workplace safety standards.
• Monitor production performance, address downtime, and improve efficiency.
• Partner with maintenance, quality, and other departments to resolve issues.
• Communicate priorities and ensure effective shift handoffs.
