Job summary

Levain Bakery is seeking an Assistant General Manager in New York to lead bakery operations, supervise staff, and ensure outstanding customer service. You will manage shifts, uphold food safety standards, and support financial performance under the guidance of the General Manager.

The role requires 3–5 years in food service with 1–2 years in supervision, familiarity with Toast POS, and a strong team leadership mindset. Competitive pay and benefits are provided with ample growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of food service, QSR, or retail experience
• 1-2 years of supervisory experience required
• Adept knowledge of Toast POS system
• Open availability: mornings, nights, weekends, holidays
• Ability to lift/push 25–50 pounds
• Stand/walk for 8 hours
• Read and communicate in English
• Basic computer skills (Email, MS Office)
• DOH Certification & regional required food handler certifications
