Job summary

Levain Bakery in Nashville is seeking a General Manager to lead bakery operations, drive profitability, and mentor a diverse team. You will oversee retail and baking production, set performance standards, and partner with district leadership to ensure exceptional guest experiences.

The role requires strong leadership, customer service excellence, and a proven ability to manage budgets and growth initiatives in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4-5 years of food service, QSR, or retail experience, with 2-3 years of management experience
• Adept knowledge of Toast POS system
• Open availability: mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays
• Ability to work 50 hours per week
• Ability to lift/push 25-50 pounds
• Read and communicate in English, both verbally and in writing
• Utilize basic computer skills (Email, Microsoft Office)
• Must have valid DOH Certification & additional regional required food handlers’ certifications

• Manage team performance through coaching and development opportunities
• Demonstrate strong customer service skills and coach team members on inquiries and complaints
• Foster lasting relationships with customers to enhance belonging and community
• Troubleshoot customer issues and oversee platform reviews
• Manage budget, control costs, and maximize profitability
• Ensure quality standards for all baked goods
• Oversee inventory, cash reconciliations, and payroll close
