Job summary

Sprouts Farmers Market is seeking a Bakery Manager to lead the Bakery Department, overseeing daily baking, production, and displays, while ensuring safety, sanitation, and quality. You’ll monitor inventory, control costs, and manage scheduling to maximize efficiency.

You’ll coach team members, participate in store meetings, recruit and promote staff, and strive to deliver the best customer service and product quality in a fast-paced, community-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years old with a minimum of 2 years' retail grocery experience.
• Be dependable with flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Outgoing and friendly with a positive attitude toward customers and team.
• Good communication and ability to work in a team.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and stand for long shifts.
• Must have Food Handlers permit or be able to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily baking, production, and display of bakery products.
• Monitor product quality, inventory, and bakery budgeting.
• Lead safety, sanitation, and food handling compliance.
• Recruit, hire, and promote team members in collaboration with store manager.
• Plan and adjust schedules to maximize productivity.
• Coach staff through feedback and performance reviews.
