Job summary

Sprouts Farmers Market is seeking a Bakery Manager to lead the Bakery Department, ensure product quality, safety, and profitability in a fast paced environment. You will manage daily baking output, supervise staff, monitor inventory, and uphold sanitation standards while delivering exceptional customer service.

The ideal candidate has at least 2 years in retail grocery, strong leadership and communication skills, ability to schedule staff, handle orders, and coach team members.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old with a minimum of 2 years' retail grocery experience.
• Dependable with flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Outgoing, friendly attitude toward team members and customers.
• Good communication skills and ability to take direction in a team environment.
• Ability to answer phones and take special orders.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 40 lbs as needed.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily output, baking, production, and display of bakery products.
• Supervise product quality, monitor inventory, and manage budget.
• Evaluate operations, develop improved practices and procedures.
• Ensure safety, sanitation, and food-handling standards.
• Order, receive, and store bakery supplies; rotate merchandise.
• Plan orders to maximize sales and gross profit.
• Lead coaching and development discussions with team.
• Attend in-store meetings and support store leadership.
