Job summary

Sprouts Farmers Market, Inc. is seeking a Bakery Manager to lead the Bakery Department, overseeing daily baking, production, and displays while ensuring quality, safety, and customer service in a fast-paced environment.

You will hire, coach, and schedule staff, manage inventory and budgets, and partner with store leadership to drive sales and exceptional bakery experiences for customers.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of retail grocery experience.
• Ability to work flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to answer phones and take special orders.
• Maintain sanitation and safety standards in the department.
• Operate equipment safely and assist with weight-related tasks.
• Understand basic merchandising and inventory concepts.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily baking output, production, and display of bakery products.
• Supervise product quality, monitor inventory, and manage bakery budget.
• Evaluate operations to identify improvements and implement procedures.
• Ensure safety, food handling, sanitation, and productivity standards.
• Oversee ordering, receiving, and storage; rotate merchandise.
• Develop staffing plans, schedule, and coach team members.
