Job summary

Sprouts Farmers Market is seeking a Bakery Manager to lead daily bakery operations, production, and display, ensuring product quality and safe food handling. You will manage staff scheduling, inventory, and merchandising to maximize sales and gross profit.

You will coach team members, take corrective actions when needed, and collaborate with Store Manager on hiring and promotions, delivering an exceptional customer experience in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age with a minimum of 2 years' retail grocery experience.
• Be dependable and reliable with the ability to work a flexible schedule including night, weekends, and holidays.
• Have outgoing and friendly behavior with a positive attitude toward team members and customers.
• Strong communication skills and ability to take direction in a team environment.
• Able to answer phones and take special orders.
• Perform general housekeeping in the department; clean and sanitize work area.

Responsibilities

• Manage the daily output baking, production, and display of bakery products.
• Supervise and monitor product quality and consistency; track inventory and manage the bakery's budget.
• Evaluate department conditions to identify improvements; develop improved practices and procedures.
• Ensure safety, proper food handling, sanitation, and productivity.
• Responsible for ordering, receiving, unloading, and storage; merchandising and labor planning to Sprouts standards.
