Job summary

Sprouts Farmers Market, Inc. is seeking a Bakery Manager to lead the Bakery Department, overseeing daily baking production, display, and quality. You will manage inventory, budget, and schedules while ensuring safety and sanitation standards.

The role requires a strong focus on customer service, coaching team members, and driving store profitability. The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of retail grocery experience, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work a flexible schedule

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years' retail grocery experience.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Outgoing and friendly demeanor with positive attitude toward team and customers.
• Strong communication skills; able to take direction and give feedback in a team environment.
• Ability to answer phones and take special orders.
• Adhere to safety, sanitation, and Weights & Measures regulations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily baking production, output, and display of bakery products.
• Supervise product quality, inventory, and bakery budget.
• Evaluate operations to identify improvements and implement new practices.
• Ensure safety, sanitation, and proper food handling standards are maintained.
• Manage ordering, receiving, unloading, and storage of bakery goods.
• Plan displays and rotation; maintain pricing integrity and labor standards.
• Lead and coach team members; conduct performance reviews and promotions.
