Job summary

Sprouts Farmers Market is seeking a Bakery Manager to oversee daily bakery operations, including production, output, and the display of bakery products while ensuring safety and sanitation standards.

You will lead a team, coach staff, manage inventory and budgeting, plan orders, and partner with the Store Manager on hiring, promotions, and performance reviews to deliver top quality products and excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• Retail grocery experience required.
• Able to work flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to train and evaluate team members.
• Must meet safety and sanitation standards.
• Able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily bakery output, production, and displays.
• Supervise product quality, monitor inventory, and manage budget.
• Evaluate operations and implement improvements.
• Ensure safety, sanitation, and productivity standards.
• Order, receive, unload, and store products.
• Rotate merchandise and build displays.
• Manage inventory, pricing integrity, labor, and other processes to Sprouts standards.
• Plan and order to maximize sales and gross profit.
• Lead and develop team through coaching and performance reviews.
• Attend in-store meetings.
• Recruit, hire, promote/transfer in collaboration with Store Manager.
• Address team concerns with independent judgment.
• Create staffing schedules for productivity.
• Communicate standards and product knowledge.
• Lead a team delivering high quality product and service.
• Serve as Key Carrier or MOD as needed.
