Job summary

Sprouts Farmers Market is seeking a Bakery Manager to oversee all aspects of the Bakery Department, drive sales, ensure product quality, and maintain safety and sanitation standards. You will manage daily baking operations, inventory, and displays while coaching team members to deliver excellent customer service.

Qualifications

Must be at least 18 years old with 2+ years of retail grocery experience.
Ability to work flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to answer phones and take special orders.
Ability to stand for long periods and perform physical tasks in a bakery environment.

Responsibilities

Manage daily output baking, production, and display of bakery products.
Supervise product quality, monitor inventory, and manage bakery budget.
Improve department operations by identifying strengths and implementing better practices.
Ensure safety, food handling, sanitation, and productivity standards are met.
Order, receive, unload and store bakery supplies with proper documentation.
Lead staff development through coaching and performance reviews, and schedule staffing.
