Job summary

Insomnia Cookies is seeking an Assistant Bakery Operations Manager to support the Bakery Operations Manager in building a high-energy, well-trained team and delivering an exceptional guest experience. You’ll coach staff, manage staffing and inventory, ensure quality and cleanliness, and step in to lead when the BOM isn’t available.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of leadership experience in retail, restaurant, hospitality, or another customer-focused environment.
• Experience coaching, motivating, and developing hourly team members.
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Hands-on leadership style and willingness to jump into any bakery role.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day bakery operations and deliver an exceptional guest experience with BOM.
• Step up to lead when the BOM is away and keep the team focused.
• Coach, motivate, and develop Shift Leaders and Crew members with real-time feedback.
• Support recruiting, onboarding, and training to build a strong staffed team.
• Help create schedules and manage labor to meet bakery needs.
