Job summary

Prasek S Smoke House is seeking a Professional Bakery Manager to oversee production and retail sales of a high quality bakery. You will lead a team, ensure product quality, manage scheduling, and drive sales while upholding sanitation and safety standards.

You will build customer relationships, train up to 25 Team Players, and coordinate with other departments to maintain consistent product quality and pricing. Experience in bakery operations and leadership is required.

Qualifications

• Several years of bakery experience with some managerial responsibilities
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office and bakery equipment
• Understanding of pricing, food costs and merchandising
• Knowledge of product quality, safety, baking techniques and merchandising

Responsibilities

• Build relationships with customers and provide superior service
• Promote product sales with information needed to make purchases
• Promote large quantity sales for events and organizations
• Hire, discipline, and evaluate Team Players; terminate with supervision
• Schedule and deliver quality training for up to 25 Team Players
• Provide Team Players with product knowledge and monitor sales performances
• Prepare production plans and schedules based on projected daily sales
• Order, receive, and inspect all products to ensure quality and value
• Maintain high level of quality regarding freshness
• Control inventory, costs, shrink, and labor to achieve margins
• Rotate products and merchandise service cases to meet sales goals
• Maintain sanitation and safety of food and equipment
• Communicate with departments and Hillje Bakery personnel to align quality
• Ensure all Team Player certifications are current
