McKeever Price Chopper is seeking an experienced Bakery Manager to lead our bakery department with excellence. You will oversee daily operations, product presentation, and a motivated team to deliver high-quality baked goods and superior service.

You will implement food safety standards, manage production schedules, and drive sales through knowledge, training, and teamwork. This role requires strong leadership, communication, and a commitment to guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Experience leading bakery or food production teams.
• Knowledge of bakery operations and food safety standards.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and delegate.
• Willing to obtain a food handler permit.

Responsibilities

• Lead, train, and manage bakery team members with high service standards.
• Oversee production schedules for breads, pastries, cakes, and specialty items.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, and quality control guidelines.
• Monitor inventory, ordering, and product rotation.
• Support custom cake orders, seasonal promotions, and merchandising displays.
• Drive department sales and profitability through product knowledge and engagement.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Communicate with store leadership and team members.
• Assist with hiring, onboarding, and scheduling of bakery staff.
