Sprouts Farmers Market is seeking a Bakery Manager to lead the Bakery Department’s daily operations, ensuring quality, safety, and superior customer service. You will plan production, manage inventory and schedules, and coach team members to deliver the best baked goods and in-store experience.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age with a minimum of 2 years' retail grocery experience
• Be dependable and reliable with ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
• Outgoing and friendly demeanor with a positive attitude toward team members and customers
• Strong communication skills and ability to take direction in a team environment
• Ability to answer phones and take special orders
• General housekeeping, sanitation, and cleanliness of the department
• Ability to operate knives, scales, wrappers, and other equipment; weigh and label products
• Physical ability to stand up to 8 hours, lift up to 40 lbs, and handle frequent movement
• Adhere to safety, health, weights and measures regulations and obtain a Food Handlers permit
• Knowledge of personnel reports, margin reports, weekly sales, and financial goals

Responsibilities

• Manage daily bakery output, production, and display
• Supervise product quality, monitor inventory, and manage the bakery budget
• Evaluate operations and implement improved practices
• Ensure safety, sanitation, and productivity standards are met
• Handle ordering, receiving, and storage
• Rotate merchandise and build displays
• Oversee inventory, pricing integrity, labor, and operational processes
• Plan orders to maximize sales and gross profit
• Lead and coach team members through performance reviews and meetings
• Attend in-store meetings and collaborate with Store Manager on promotions and staffing
