Sprouts Farmers Market is seeking a Bakery Manager to oversee the Bakery Department's overall performance. You will manage daily baking production, display, and inventory while ensuring safe, high-quality products and cost controls.

Leading a team, coaching staff, and coordinating with the Store Manager on hiring and promotions are integral to this role. The environment is fast-paced with a focus on customer service and healthy living.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age with a minimum of 2 years' retail grocery experience.
• Be dependable and reliable with a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Have outgoing and friendly behavior with a positive attitude toward team members and customers.
• Have good communication skills and the ability to take and give direction in a team environment.
• Able to answer phones and take special orders; perform general housekeeping in the department.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily output baking, production and display of bakery products.
• Supervise product quality, track inventory and manage the bakery budget.
• Evaluate operations for improvement and implement better practices.
• Ensure safety, sanitation, and proper food handling compliance.
• Order, receiving, unloading and storage; rotate merchandise and build displays.
• Plan and order to maximize sales and gross profit; lead and coach team members.
• Recruit, hire and promote in collaboration with Store Manager; address performance.
