Job summary

Sprouts Farmers Market is seeking a Bakery Manager to lead the Bakery Department’s daily operations, including baking, production, and display. You will supervise quality, inventory, and budgeting while coaching team members to deliver top-tier customer experiences.

The role requires 2+ years in retail grocery, strong teamwork, communication, and a commitment to safety and sanitation. Growth opportunities and a fast-paced, customer-first environment are highlights of this position.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years old with at least 2 years’ retail grocery experience.
• Be flexible with schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Outgoing and friendly with a positive attitude toward team members and customers.
• Good communication and willingness to take direction in a team.
• Able to answer phones and take special orders.
• Perform general housekeeping and sanitation in the department.

Responsibilities

• Manage the daily output baking, production, and display of bakery products.
• Supervise and monitor product quality, track inventory, and manage the bakery’s budget.
• Evaluate department conditions and implement improved practices and procedures.
• Ensure safety, food handling, sanitation, and productivity standards are met.
• Plan and order according to company standards to maximize sales and gross profit.
• Recruit, hire, and promote staff in collaboration with the Store Manager.
