Sprouts Farmers Market is seeking an Assistant Bakery Manager to lead Bakery Clerks and assist the Bakery Manager in daily department operations, delivering exceptional customer service in a fast-paced store environment.

Responsibilities include supervising staff, managing inventory and displays, ensuring health and safety guidelines, processing deliveries, and contributing to department productivity and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Two years' retail grocery experience
• Two years supervisory experience
• Ability to work flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays
• Outgoing and friendly demeanor with strong customer interaction
• Good communication skills and teamwork
• Ability to handle phones and special orders
• General housekeeping and sanitation
• Ability to operate deli equipment and handle weights safely
• Ability to stand long hours and lift up to 40 lbs as needed
• Adherence to safety and Weights and Measures regulations and Food Handlers permit

Responsibilities

• Assist the Bakery Manager in managing and merchandising the department for productivity and profit
• Supervise Bakery Clerks and support daily operations
• Rotate merchandise and build displays
• Monitor incoming cases for damage
• Ensure high-quality bakery products and excellent customer service
• Unload deliveries and operate deli equipment
• Maintain health, safety, and sanitation guidelines
