Job summary

Aspire Bakeries LLC is seeking a Tech 2, Bakery Maintenance for the 2nd shift at the Newark, CA bakery. You will maintain, troubleshoot, and repair bakery equipment, building systems, and facilities to support safe, reliable operations.

You will fabricate stainless‑steel components, perform preventive maintenance, and ensure compliance with food safety, quality, and regulatory requirements. Strong welding, electrical, and mechanical skills are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Technical certificate in HVAC, refrigeration, mechanical, electrical, or plumbing repair.
• 1-3 years of electrical experience.
• Ability to read blueprints, shop drawings, and maintenance instructions.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate and assemble stainless‑steel components and equipment using MIG and TIG welding.
• Perform preventive maintenance and overhauls to maintain bakery equipment and facilities.
• Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, plumbing, HVAC, and refrigeration systems.
• Diagnose electrical systems including PLCs, VFDs, 3‑phase equipment, and lighting controls.
• Maintain facilities through building repairs, painting, roofing, carpentry, lighting, and general maintenance.
• Document maintenance activities using SAP EAM and maintain accurate records.
• Follow FDA, GMPs, OSHA, HACCP, sanitation procedures and safety programs.
