Job summary

Aspire Bakeries is hiring a Maintenance Tech III on the 2nd shift for our Cayce, SC bakery. You will maintain, troubleshoot, and repair production equipment and facility systems to minimize downtime and support safe, efficient bakery production.

Qualifications

• High school diploma and a minimum of 4 years of industrial maintenance experience in instrumentation, measurement and control systems, electronics, mechanical, and/or electrical maintenance; OR 6 years of related industrial maintenance experience in lieu of a diploma.
• Experience in at least three of the following areas: refrigeration, plumbing, electrical, mechanical systems, or food manufacturing process controls.
• Strong knowledge of equipment setup, operation, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance practices.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and PLC-controlled equipment to maintain operational reliability.
• Perform preventive maintenance, equipment overhauls, installations, and fabrication activities to improve equipment performance.
• Diagnose equipment failures and restore production operations in a timely manner.
• Operate maintenance tools, lifts, forklifts, and related equipment safely and effectively.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and complete work order documentation within maintenance systems.
• Ensure compliance with GMP, food safety, quality, and regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate maintenance activities with internal teams and external contractors to support uninterrupted production.
