Job summary

Aspire Bakeries is seeking a Journeyman Engineer for our Stockton, CA bakery to maintain and troubleshoot bakery equipment and facility systems, supporting production needs. You will develop expertise in bakery production equipment and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure safe, reliable operations.

This role requires 3–5 years of mechanic experience in food manufacturing, strong electrical troubleshooting skills, and the ability to read and document work orders.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of mechanic experience in a food manufacturing environment.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with electrical troubleshooting capability.
• Ability to read, complete, and document work orders and maintenance records.
• English literacy at an elementary level.

Responsibilities

• Maintain facility and production equipment in a safe, sanitary and operational state to support daily production requirements.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems, steam, water, hydraulics, pneumatics, refrigeration, boilers and related equipment.
• Ensure safety devices and guards are installed before equipment returns to operation.
• Support food safety practices and maintenance team development.
