Job summary

Aspire Bakeries is seeking a Maintenance Technician for our Ontario, CA bakery. You will maintain bakery equipment and facility systems to support daily production, focusing on preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and timely repairs while upholding food safety and quality standards.

The role requires 3+ years of mechanical/electrical maintenance in industrial settings or 5 years of related experience; strong problem-solving skills and CMMS proficiency are essential.

Qualifications

• HS diploma with 3+ years mechanical/electrical experience in industrial environments OR 5 years in industrial maintenance.
• Experience troubleshooting and repairing industrial manufacturing equipment.
• Experience in at least two of refrigeration, plumbing, electrical, mechanical systems, or food manufacturing process controls.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical, mechanical, instrumentation, and control system documentation (P&IDs, drawings, loop diagrams).
• Basic computer skills for maintenance documentation and CMMS usage.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance to maximize equipment reliability and uptime.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, plumbing, and control system issues.
• Support equipment changeovers, testing, and major equipment overhauls to ensure readiness.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and work orders in CMMS.
• Operate maintenance tools, machinery, lifts, and material handling equipment safely.
• Collaborate with production teams to minimize disruptions and optimize equipment performance.
• Maintain compliance with food safety, GMP, quality, safety, and regulatory requirements.
