Job summary

Aspire Bakeries LLC in Newark, CA is seeking a Tech 2, Bakery Maintenance on the 2nd shift to keep bakery equipment, building systems, and facilities running safely and efficiently.

You will fabricate stainless-steel components using MIG/TIG welding, perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, plumbing, HVAC and refrigeration systems, and document activities in SAP EAM.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Technical certificate in HVAC, refrigeration, mechanical, electrical or plumbing repair.
• Experience in a maintenance department with preventive maintenance knowledge.
• Ability to read blueprints, shop and engineering drawings and manuals.
• Ability to troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate and assemble stainless-steel components using MIG/TIG welding.
• Perform preventive maintenance and equipment overhauls to ensure safe bakery operations.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, plumbing, HVAC and refrigeration systems.
• Diagnose PLCs, VFDs, 3-phase systems, lighting and related controls.
• Maintain bakery facilities including building repairs and lighting.
• Document maintenance activities in SAP EAM.
• Follow FDA/GMP/OSHA sanitation and safety programs.
