Sprouts Farmers Market is seeking an Assistant Bakery Manager to lead Bakery Clerks and support the Bakery Manager in daily operations. You will focus on merchandising, scheduling, and maintaining product quality in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.

Responsibilities include ordering, inventory controls, rotating merchandise, and enforcing health and safety guidelines while delivering excellent service and training the team to thrive in a growing, community-focused bakery.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years' retail grocery experience and two years supervisory experience.
• Ability to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Outgoing, friendly demeanor with strong customer interaction skills.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities to take/give direction.
• Familiarity with safety, health, and sanitation standards.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Bakery Manager in supervising Bakery Clerks and daily operations.
• Manage department merchandising for productivity and profit.
• Oversee ordering, inventory control, and product quality.
• Rotate merchandise and build displays; monitor incoming items.
• Enforce health, safety, and sanitation guidelines and train staff.
